I’m here to help you cut through the noise and find your own inner wisdom paired with evidence-based guidance.

How did I get here? 

“There has to be something more…”  

This thought has been in my mind for some time. It spoke to me as I was working in the corporate world, knowing I wanted more passion in my professional life. It spoke to me as I cared for my mom who battled ovarian cancer with all of her strength and passed away just 18 months later. It spoke to me as my dad struggled with perplexing autoimmune conditions and couldn’t find a path for treatment. And it spoke to me as I experienced a miscarriage in between the births of my two precious children. 

I wanted to do more. I wanted to help more.
I want more for you and your baby. 

 
 

 
 

Each of these moments led to discovering my calling… becoming a Nutrition Consultant. 

The more that I learned about nutrition, the more that I realized I wanted to help pregnant women thrive in pregnancy and beyond. I also wanted to help more babies develop in a nutritionally rich environment, setting them up for lifelong health and well-being.

Your nutrition, lifestyle, and environment have a big influence on your and your baby’s health. It’s vital that you’re getting all the essential nutrients throughout pregnancy.

Having knowledge and tools to support you in your Nourished pregnancy journey is why I am here.  

I’m a Certified Nutrition Consultant from Bauman College, where I completed 700 hours of coursework. This included working with clients throughout the program, extensive research on health conditions, and teaching a series of classes on Eating for Health.

 
 

 

My Philosophy

 

I believe that we “are what we eat.” But I also believe that it’s more extensive than that. We really are made of what our body absorbs and assimilates. What we eat deeply influences every aspect of our health. Our nutrition determines how our genetics play out, how our body functions, and how we feel every day.

We each have the opportunity to become more conscious of our nutrition. Preventative health starts with us and our choices. When we include foods and nutrients that support our unique bodies, we can reduce the risk of chronic disease. We also set ourselves up for a longer, healthier lifespan.

I work with clients through a collaborative partnership. I’m here to offer education and tools, while listening to the unique wants and needs of each person I work with. Life is busy and sometimes overwhelming. My support takes that into account, focusing on helping clients make changes that are sustainable, easy to integrate, and can become life-long habits. Empowerment that leads to healthy pregnancies and lifestyles is my goal!

I’m also here to provide support and tools to nourish your individual body. This means helping you with nutritional support for fertility issues so you can conceive, and then the creation of a healthy environment for your baby to grow and thrive. We’ll work together to create customized nutrition plans, tools, and support with accountability so you can make changes successfully to achieve your goal of long-term health.

 
 
 

As someone without a lot of food discipline or a deep understanding of nutrition and food combinations working with Jessica was incredible. She provided clear, easy to use meal plans, recipes, and tips for improving my overall health. She is great at determining nutritional deficiencies/sensitivities that can cause different reactions/symptoms and is skilled at helping address them. During pregnancy so many questions pop up and she was knowledgeable and responsive each time I reached out to her. Her patience and ability to understand what her clients truly need is a gift. Jessica isn't going to just tell you what to eat. She will coach you into a new way of nourishing your body. I highly recommend working with her!

A Little More About Me…

  •  I live in beautiful Boulder, Colorado with my husband and two young children. I feel grateful to be in a place that sees so much sunshine, has access to unlimited outdoor activities, and appreciates health & wellness.

  • My kiddos are the light of my life and being a mom is my greatest and most challenging accomplishment. Seeing them smile makes my day brighter!

  • I LOVE food! I always have and now food is an integral part of my life. I enjoy cooking and finding ways to make delicious, nutritious food.

  • I love to read, be outside, and spend time with friends and family. Relationships are my world and I hold them close to my heart.
